1. Trade Accounts & Ordering

Blackbeard Books Ltd is a trade-only wholesale business. Orders are accepted exclusively from approved trade account holders including saddleries, tack shops, riding schools and equestrian retailers.

To place an order you must first register for a trade account. All new account applications are reviewed and approved at our discretion. Once approved, you may browse trade pricing and submit order enquiries through the website.

All order enquiries submitted through the website are subject to confirmation. We will contact you to confirm availability, delivery details and payment terms. Goods are offered subject to being unsold, and we reserve the right to cancel or amend any order if items become unavailable.

2. Pricing

All retail prices (RRP) are shown inclusive of VAT where applicable. Trade prices shown to approved account holders are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to amend prices at any time without prior notice.

While every effort is made to ensure pricing accuracy, in the event of a pricing error we reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order placed at an incorrect price.

3. Delivery

We aim to dispatch orders within 1–2 working days, though delivery times may vary during peak periods. If any items in your order are unavailable, we will notify you within 24 hours.

A delivery charge of £9.99 applies to all orders with a trade value below £100. Orders of £100 or more qualify for free delivery. We may dispatch orders in multiple shipments at no additional postage cost.

4. Returns

If you are not entirely satisfied with your order, you may return items within 14 days of delivery for an exchange or refund. Items must be returned in their original condition, unused and undamaged.

Postage and packaging charges are not refundable. We recommend using a tracked delivery service for returns; Blackbeard Books Ltd is not responsible for items lost in transit.

5. Privacy

We store the information you provide when registering for an account or placing an order for the purposes of customer service and order processing. We may contact you regarding new titles, offers or updates relevant to your trade account. We will not share your details with third parties.
