Who can open a trade account with Blackbeard Books?
We supply saddleries, tack shops, equestrian retailers, riding schools, livery yards, farm shops, country stores and any other business that sells equestrian products. This website is for trade customers only.
How do I open a trade account?
Register for a trade account on our website and we will review your application. Existing customers who have ordered from us before will be approved straight away. Once approved, you can log in and start ordering. If you have any questions about the process, get in touch and we will be happy to help.
Is there a minimum order?
There is no minimum order quantity. You can order as few or as many titles as you need. Whether you want a single copy or a bulk order, we are happy to supply.
What trade discount do you offer?
We offer a standard trade discount of 35% off the recommended retail price on books. Some product lines such as the Monty Roberts Dually Halter have fixed trade prices. All trade prices are shown when you log in to your account.
How much does delivery cost?
Delivery is £9.99 per order. Orders over £100 qualify for free delivery. We dispatch to UK mainland addresses.
How long does delivery take?
Most in-stock orders are dispatched within one to two working days. Standard delivery typically arrives within two to four working days after dispatch. If any items are out of stock or on order from the publisher, we will let you know.
Can I return books?
Yes. If you need to return stock, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order. Books must be in resalable condition — unmarked, undamaged and in their original packaging. We will arrange a return or credit as appropriate.
How do I reorder?
Log in to your trade account and add items to your basket from the catalogue. You can browse by category or search for specific titles by name, author or ISBN.
Do you supply outside the UK?
We primarily supply UK-based retailers. If you are based outside the UK and would like to discuss placing an order, please contact us and we will do our best to help.
